Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu where you will be greeted by a representative from Adventure Himalayan. You will be taken to your chosen hotel and relax in rest of time. At evening we accompany you for a welcome dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant presenting Nepali cultural dance as well.

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing tour& trek preparation

Today, we will look around cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu. A professional culture guide will describe you about the history and cultural values of the places like Kathmandu Durbar Square: a home of a living goddess, Pashupatinath: a Hindu temple, Swyambhunath and Boudhnath: two famous Buddhist stupas. Since Nepal being a secular country, you can see cultural tolerance everywhere.

There after we do finalize some official formalities, discus about the trek and do some preparations.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara (820m)

After morning breakfast, we leave early and drive westwards to the beautiful lake city Pokhara. Along the windy highway, we pass by rivers, villages, towns, forests and terraced farms before making 200km to Pokhara. Pokhara city is set in a beautiful valley under the inspiring shadows of Annapurna and Fishtail mountains.

Day 04: Drive to NayaPul, trek to Ulleri (1960m)

Today we start early and drive to Nayapul (1070m) - 46km/1:30 minutes. We start trekking by passing through small town, suspension bridges and follow the Burungdi Khola upstream. We then walk by the villages of Birethanti (1050m) and Sudame before reaching to Hile (1430m) for lunch. Ulleri village is located at the top of a hill, which is on steep climb from Tikhedhunga (1540m).

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2860m)

Leaving Ulleri we enter into the dense Rhododendron forest. In spring forest becomes colorful with Rhododendron flowers. We pass by the small villages of Banthati, NangeThati and finally we emerge out of forest at Ghorepani. Ghorepani is a strategic point of Nepal Tibet trade route, where peoples stop to water their horses. This magnificent village offers the charming view of great mountain vistas. Stay overnight in a local guest house.

Day 06: Hike to Pooh Hill, trek to Tadapani

This is one of striking days of our trip when we hike to Poon-Hill (3,210m) to catch the glorious sunrise over the Himalayas. With the light of morning sunrays, the panoramic Annapurna & Dhaulagiri mountains changes form pink to golden to Silver white. Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna south (7,219m), Fishtail (6,993), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna III (7,855m) etc. are major peaks seen from Poon Hill.

Then we trek back to Ghorepani and after breakfast we’ll start trekking to Tadapani (2,625m). The trail is a bit up-down but not challenging. Tadapani is another hill station at the edge of dense forest.

Day 07: Trek to Chhomrong (2170m)

From Tadapani trail descents through dense forest down to the Modi Khola and ascend to the village of Chuile. Further it’s a couple of hours walk before reach to the big village of Chhomrong. This is a large Gurung village situated under the pleasing shadow of mighty Annapurna south and Fishtail. Stay overnight in Chhomrong.

Day 08: Trek to Dovan (2580m)

Trail descends through forests of orchids and butterflies till to Chhomrung Khola. Further it rises towards Khudi village displaying fine view of Mt. Fishtail (6993m). Along stone staircases, bamboo and rhododendron forests, it extends towards Bamboo village and finally Dovan arrives after a short gradual uphill trek. Overnight at Dovan.

Day 09:  Trek to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700m)

Today our journey stretches till to Machhapuchree Base Camp. Walk through the forest, Himalaya hotel, Hinku Cave, canyons and the steeply path. As we make elevation beyond Deurali (3230m), the tree line leaves behind us. The close view of mighty Annapurna sanctuary inspires us to actively trek to Machhapuchre Base Camp for overnight set up.

Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)

Today is the highlight of this trip, when we travel to our center of attraction- Annapurna Base Camp along with dazzling view of the surrounding. In the morning trek for a couple of hour to ABC located at the center of snow capped peaks. Admire enchanting view of Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna south (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Fishtail (6993m), Gangapurna (7454m), Annapurna II, III and many more. The evening and morning dedicates magnificent sunset and sunrise over this mountain arena. Enjoy the excursion around the base camp and stay overnight in a lodge.

Day 11: Trek back to Bamboo (2310m)

From today, we return back by retracing the way down. In the morning enjoy sunrise view over Himalayans, have breakfast and start walking towards Bamboo. You’ll have a many opportunities of making fun with mountain sceneries. Trekking along downhill would be much easier and faster than climbing up. Stay overnight in a Bamboo lodge.

Day 12: Trek from bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780m)

Walking through the bamboo and rhododendron forest, come down to Jhinu Danda. Jhinu Danda has natural Hot spring. Take an opportunity of lying over hot ponds. Jhinu village is situated at a scenic hilltop. Enjoy the tempting hill’s beauty and stay overnight.

Day 13: Trek to Pothana (1890m)

After breakfast, trek downhill through lush forest, villages, streams and suspension bridges. Observe local’s lifestyle and working in the fields, which could be much unique and interesting to you. Pothana is a clustered village with lots of guest houses. Select one and stay overnight.

Day 14: Trek to Phedi, drive to Pokhara

This is the final trekking day, when we come back to modernization. After breakfast, start descending down via beautiful Dhampus village (1690m). Arriving Phedi, we’ll drive back to Pokhara and stay overnight in a selected hotel.

Driving time: 30 minutes

Day 15: Drive back to Kathmandu

By 7 in the morning, we’ll start drive back to Kathmandu by a comfortable tourist bus. Passing by several hills and rivers, you can feel different taste of Nepalese highway. In Kathmandu, we’ll arrange a standard hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 16: Departure

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking trip comes to an end today! Approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, transfer to airport and fly to your onward destination.
