Wandering over the remote mountain village of Ghale Gaun (2016m), discover the tradition livelihood of Gurung people. This is the largest Gurung village of Nepal located at about 205km west of Kathmandu. The interesting rituals, festivals, traditions and heartily welcoming cultures passing by generation to generation truly reflect their authentic values and ethnic prosperities. In other hand Ghale Gaun is very close of Annapurna Mountains, offering splendid views of Silver Mountains, high hills and green forest.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome! Our representative will meets you at the arrival lounge of Kathmandu airport with a display board for Adventure Himalayan. S/he will assist you to manage your luggage. Introduce shortly and drive to a chosen hotel in downtown of Kathmandu. At evening we offer you a welcome dinner of Nepalese cuisine at typical Nepali restaurant.

Day 02: Drive to Ghale Gaun via Beshisahar

Today we will be going to our highlight destination: Ghale Gaun. From Kathmandu, we’ll travel westward through scenic foothills and windy roads. On reaching to Besisahar (administrative headquarter of Lumjung district) stop for lunch. Ahead road goes zigzag till to Ghale Gaun. At evening attend in a welcome program and stay overnight in a selected hotel.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Driving time: 6-7 hours

Day 03: Explore cultural village of Ghale Gaun (2016m)

Early in the morning, hike to nearby hill to observe glittering sunrise over the Himalayan panorama. Take some photo clicks, enjoy refreshing scene and return back to village. Ghale Gaun is the biggest Gurung village in Nepal with preserved traditions and life practices. Explore the village, get involve in local’s livelihood and experience unique hospitality. At evening participate on Gurung cultural performance.

Day 04: Drive back to Kathmandu

Today we’ll return back to Kathmandu. In the morning there will be a farewell program where villagers show their traditional reception. Leaving Ghale Gaun, pass by beautiful villages, forests, rice fields and rivers and return to Kathmandu. Lunch en-route!

Day 05: Final departure

Our Homestay Tour comes to an end today. Approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, transfer to Kathmandu airport and fly to your onward destination. Adventure Himalayan wishes your best in your every future journey.
