Nepal: a scintillating Himalayan country of show peaks and Sherpas, monasteries and mantras, temples and tigers, artists and artifacts. These historical and ecological diversities within a small boundary of Nepal have made it a photographers’ dream destination. Adventure Himalayan offers all in one package of capturing everything from cultures, wild creatures to some of highest mountains in the world.
Our photography trip holds access to capture ancient living and cultural significances of Kathmandu valley. The traditional town, unique livelihood, ethnic dresses and etc gives an exclusive photographic option that one could get from anywhere else. Together it extends to shoot the beauties of hill stations, Pokhara city, sacred town of Muktinath, dazzling mountains and eventually to tigers and rhinos in Chitwan National Park.

Detail Itinerary
Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1338m)
Welcome! We appreciate your idea of choosing Nepal your photography destination. Our representative meets you at arrival gate of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) with a display board for Adventure Himalayan. Then you will be taken to a chosen hotel in downtown of Kathmandu. At evening we organize a welcome dinner in an authentic Nepali restaurant. Take some snaps of Nepali cuisine and enjoy the taste.
Meal: Dinner.
Day 02: Visit Kathmandu heritages
Today is the finest opportunity of cultural photography lovers. To the UNESCO heritages of Kathmandu, our guide will help you to find values and significances of each monument. Capture the solid photograph of Swyambhu (monkey temple), Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath and Boudha. These heritages make you feel the religious integrity of Hinduism and Buddhism.

Day 03: Explore Bhaktapur city
Breakfast is followed by visit to Bhaktapur. This is an ancient city with preserved tradition lifestyle and housing pattern. It is famous for finest metal, wood and stone work. Visit town, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Nyatapola temple, Dattatreya square, local’s work fields and take live glimpse of every living heritages. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day04: Drive to Bandipur (1030m)
Along the scenic foothills, drive westward to Bandipur. It is a picturesque hill station settled mostly by Newari people. There we can see some of finest craft works reflecting religion and cultural significances of Newars. The sunrise and sunset views along with impressive Himalayan are just magnificent. Choose a boutique hotel and stay overnight.

Driving time: 4-5 hours
Day 05: Drive to Pokhara city (827m)
The tourist paradise: Pokhara is the city of lakes and caves. Drive for 3 hours along attractive terraces, villages and enter to Pokhara for nonstop photo shoots. This city offers beautiful lakes, mysterious caves, waterfalls, temples and Mountain Views to the far. Visit to the sites and capture them for your lifetime memory.

Day 06: Fly Jomsom (2720m), drive to Kagbeni (2800m)
After breakfast, we’ll attempt a short scenic flight to Jomsom. The flight passes through Annapurna-Dhaulagiri ridge offering you the best mountain photographic option. Jomsom is administrative headquarter of Mustang region. Spend some time exploring around and capturing village lifestyle. Afterward drive to the village of Kagbeni for relaxing overnight.

Day 07: Drive to Muktinath (3760m)
Drive to blessed town to Muktinath. Muktinath is brilliantly situated temple sacred for both Hindu and Buddhist. The multi religious practices, several Buddhist and Hindu icons, 108 taps of holy water, temple of Lord Vishnu and etc made this place a top choice pilgrimage destination. Together the charm of mountains and fresh surrounding poses apex quality to photographers.

Driving time: 4 hours
Day 08: Drive back to Jomsom (2720m)
Wake up early morning and shoot elegant sunrise view escaping out of Himalayan boundary. The first rays of sunlight striking and reflecting to mountains generate a magic in photography. Then after, we’ll drive back to Jomsom through amazing landscapes and alpine forests. We’ll arrange our stay in a local teahouse of Jomsom.

Driving time: 4-5 hours
Day 09: Fly Pokhara, explore the city
After breakfast, by reviewing Himalayan panorama we’ll fly back to Pokhara. After being settled in hotel, we’ll continue the trip exploring Seti River gorge, Mahendra cave, Bindabasini temple, Bat’s cave and etc. At evening take nightlife snaps of lakeside city.

Day 10: Drive to Chitwan National Park
Today, our journey extends to another UNESCO heritage site of southern Nepal: Chitwan National Park. Drive approx. 4 hours through highways and reach to dense forested areas of Chitwan. It is a natural habitat of some of rarest species of plants and animals. At evening we’ll get to arrest attractive sunset at the beach of Rapti River. Overnight in a resort.

Driving time: 4 hours
Day 11: Full day Jungle photography
Today we’ll enter to the jungle to encounter wild lives and their habitat. By Jungle walk/ Elephant back safari/ Jeep safari insert deep to the park and capture rhinos, deer, wild pig, birds, insects, plants and sometime tiger as well. Shoot crocodiles through canoe ride and Elephants in elephant breeding center. Stay overnight in Chitwan.

Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu
Today we’ll drive back to Kathmandu. Passing by fast flowing rivers, rustic villages, rice fields, forests and towns, it’ll be fun to drive through windy foothills. While arriving Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel, check in and stay relax.

Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu
Today we do have nothing much to do. As per your interest explore the city, go for shopping or relax in the hotel. We want you to share experiences and opportunities of this trip. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel.

Approx. 3 hours before your scheduled flight, we’ll drive you to international airport and fly to your onward destination. Adventure Himalayan seeks your company in our future travel journeys.
